Our Water Regulations (WRAS Water Byelaws) course is for candidates who want to understand the requirements and regulations/water byelaws.

The Water Regulations (WRAS Water Byelaws) course is for candidates who are working in the plumbing and heating industry and need to gain knowledge of water regulations (1999) to enable them to apply as an approved plumber/contractor with their local water authorities “Water Industry Approved Plumber Scheme” which are managed by SNIPEF, APHC, CIPHE, WIAPS, and the regional water utility companies (Industry certification may be required to join). By completing the Water Regulations (WRAS Water Byelaws) course will enable the candidate to issue a certificate of completion to both the householder and the water company.

There is currently no expiry on certification for the Water Regulations (WRAS Water Byelaws) course however, some candidates like to keep up with industry changes and complete the course on a more regular basis or when the water regulations are updated.
