Description
On completion of the course candidates are issued with a BPEC Gas foundation Certificate, once you have received this you can apply to take the ACS assessments required for Gas Safe registration.
The domestic gas foundation course training and exams are held at our bespoke Plumbing and gas Centre Unit 5 Chapel Road, Portslade, Brighton BN41 1PF.
The course requires 280 hours of centre-based training alongside “on the job” training with a gas registered engineer so that candidates can collect work-based evidence to compile their candidate portfolio.
The candidate portfolio allows candidates to record all the training they undertake as evidence of the necessary knowledge and experience to undertake the ACS assessment.
Candidates must secure the work with a gas registered engineer themselves prior to starting the course.

Prerequisites
Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in the mechanical services engineering sector (eg. plumbing) OR they will have gained a minimum of 2 GCSE grades at C or equivalent in English, Maths or relevant/appropriate experience or an entry assessment must be completed.
