Our SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) is a CITB site safety plus course. The SMSTS course will assist those who have currently carried out the role of a site manager or are looking at acquiring a role of a site manager.  

The Our SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of legal, moral, and social responsibilities that health and safety play within their role. The course covers all relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction, and civil engineering industries. At the end of the period, candidates will be able to implement all health, safety, welfare, and environmental legislation affecting daily work and roles, implement new guidance and industry best practices, and state candidates' duties and responsibilities.

The SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) course is delivered through theory training, classroom interactions, and discussions, best practice sharing, case studies individual work, and presentations to assess the candidate. The SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) course requires self-study in their own time.  Candidates attending the SMSTS course require a good understanding of spoken and written English (CITB Requirement). Certification for this course is valid for 5 years to remain certificated candidates must complete a refresher course before certificate expiry.

The SMSTS (Site Managers Safety Training Scheme) CITB course has a written exam at the end of your 5th day of training. Our team can support you with any exam requirements and adjustments you may have (evidence may be required)
