The Unvented course is designed for plumbers and heating engineers who are currently working within the industry or those who would like to install vented and unvented domestic hot water storage systems to comply with the appropriate building regulations and standards. Completing the Unvented course will enable you to demonstrate competence and either join a competent person scheme allowing the self-certification or notify the local building control before work is completed. The Unvented course covers G3 building regulations and the new requirements for vented and unvented systems.

The Unvented course is open to candidates who have previously completed their unvented course and it has reached its 5-year expiry (re-assessment must be within 12 months), or you hold a Level 2 NVQ in plumbing or Level 3 in plumbing and heating or domestic heating, or can provide evidence several years’ experience in the plumbing and heating industry.

The Unvented course is delivered in 1 day and includes your training and assessments.

This Unvented course is BPEC certificated – You do not have to have previously completed your Unvented with BPEC to attend this Unvented course.  

We offer this course as face-to-face learning at our centre near Brighton to ensure you obtain the most direct training and support from our delivery team with plenty of opportunities to have technical discussions and ask questions throughout the course.
