 Our First Aid at Work course is for anyone who is needing to become a qualified first aider or be a workplace first aider. The HSE states candidates should have at least one first aider per 50 employees or each place of work.

 The First Aid at Work course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to deal with administrators a variety of first aid techniques to fulfill the role of the First Aider. The training will cover adult resuscitation (CPR), allergic reaction, asthma, bone, muscle, and joint injuries, burns and scalds, chest pains, choking adults, communication and casualty care, eye injuries, fainting, head injuries, defibrillator prompts and how to respond (theory based), defibrillator pad placement (theory based), low blood sugar, managing an emergency, minor and severe bleeding, poisons and what to do if someone has been poisoned, the role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations), seizures, shock, spinal injuries, stroke, unresponsive adult. 

 Throughout the First Aid at Work course, you will carry out some real-life scenarios to help you understand how you will deal with them in a real-life environment.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work Course covers a range of sectors including First Aid in construction.

Certificates for the First Aid Course are nationally recognized and are valid for 3 years.

The First Aid at Work course is delivered in 3 days and includes your training and assessments. Our team can support you with any exam requirements and adjustments you may have (evidence may be required)
This First Aid at Work course is QUALSAFE certificated.

We offer this course as face-to-face learning at our centre near Brighton to ensure you obtain the most direct training and support from our delivery team and plenty of opportunities to have technical discussions and ask questions throughout the course.
