Our HSA – Health and Safety Awareness CITB Course is for anyone working in or joining the construction industry and are required to complete the course to have an understanding of health and safety and meet the CSCS scheme requirements.

 The Health and Safety Awareness CITB Course will provide training on the need to work safely on construction sites and how safety issues may affect the candidate's daily work along with keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. The HSA Course training covers the responsibilities of the individual and employer including the requirements of what to do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk, how to prevent accidents, health, and safety law, how your role fits into the control and management of the site, risk assessments, and method statements, performing safely and asking for advice and how to report unsafe acts to prevent an accident.

The Health and Safety Awareness CITB course is delivered through theory training, classroom interactions, and discussions. Candidates attending the HSA - Health and Safety Awareness CITB course require a good understanding of spoken and written English (CITB Requirement). Certification for this course is valid for 5 years.

The HSA - Health and Safety Awareness CITB course has a written exam at the end of your day's training. Our team can support you with any exam requirements and adjustments you may have (evidence may be required)
