The CCN1 ACS Initial Course is designed for candidates who are new to the industry and have achieved the required gas entry qualifications necessary to complete their CCN1 Initial. It is also suitable for candidates whose Gas Safe Registration has lapsed for more than 12 months

The training will provide candidates with the latest gas safety regulations, ensuring their knowledge within the gas industry is current. It will also support them in achieving their ACS assessments. The candidate will be able to complete training and assessments for appliances aligned with their gas entry qualifications.

Appliances included in this course are: 
Domestic Natural Gas – CCN1, including combustion performance analysis.
CENWAT – Central heating boilers and water heaters
CKR1 – Cookers
HTR1 – Heaters
MET1 – Meters 

Candidates are required to hold a Level 3 domestic plumbing and heating qualification, a Managed Learning Programme Certificate or previously completed their ACS which has lapsed past 12 months to be eligible for the CCN1 Initial (ACS) under the Gas Safe Registration scheme."

The CCN1 Gas course consists of 2 days training, 1 day for written assessments, and 1- 2days allocated for your ACS gas assessments.

We offer this course as face-to-face learning at our centre near Brighton to ensure you receive the most direct training and support from our delivery team. There are plenty of opportunities for technical discussions and questions throughout the course.

Gas books are provided to candidates for their course.
