ISITEE In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (Portable Appliance Testing)

2-day Course

Our ISITEE In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (Portable Appliance Testing) course, formally PAT Testing will enable you to be qualified to carry out and manage the testing of portable appliances.

The PAT (Potable Appliance Testing) course provided by ISITEE equips you with the necessary training to conduct electrical equipment maintenance and ensure the equipment is tested and deemed safe for use. Learn how to test portable electrical appliances and obtain a qualification in electrical equipment maintenance and testing. Candidates will learn, develop, and practice the required skills to inspect and test equipment in line with the latest edition of the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

The 2377-77 PAT Testing – In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (ISITEE) Course is open to all candidates, although we recommend that candidates should be practicing electricians. Additionally, candidates should hold a level 3 qualification demonstrating competency within the electrical installation industry and the 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification.

The 2377-77 PAT Testing – In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (ISITEE) training is delivered over 2 days. On the 2^nd day of the course you will complete the required assessments.

The 2377-77 ISITEE In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (Portable Appliance Testing) qualification includes a 1 hour 45-minute multiple-choice exam consisting of 50 questions, as well as a practical assessment (You can bring your own tester for the practical assessment if it complies with GS38)
