National Apprenticeship Week 2024: Skills for Life with Tungsten Training Centre
This year, the theme for National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Skills for Life’. This gave us the opportunity to celebrate our apprentices at Tungsten Training Centre and how far they have come since they started.
At Tungsten Training Centre, our mission is to provide our apprentices with the best possible education and training for their required field of study and practice. To make our mission possible, we employ highly qualified and experienced tutors who know the criteria back to front to ensure they give the best possible experience to our apprentices.
We are committed to supporting our apprentices in their goals of making a difference in their careers and becoming further qualified and experienced. We currently have 75 apprentices on board over a wide range of available courses.
An apprenticeship with Tungsten Training Centre involves quality training from an established and experienced professional in the industry. We supply this to our up-and-coming professionals so they can gain the ins and outs of the occupation, efficiently preparing them to become professionals through practical training and assignments.
Our apprenticeship offers brilliant networking opportunities in the future upon completing the candidates’ course and apprenticeship. We provide a service for matching qualified and experienced apprentices to companies who require them. This is to supply our apprentices with the best possible service for their futures.
Whilst gaining the applicable industry-standard knowledge required for their qualifications, our apprentices also receive payment for their work during their educational hours. Upon completing their apprenticeships, our candidates will gain the opportunity to move higher in their careers along with the skills they have achieved.
Apprentices are supported by the team and their tutors in several ways:
- Making sure they have dedicated time to learn.
- Providing structure to their workload so they can focus on development and growth.
- Informal check-ins to get to know the apprentice and discuss their wellbeing.
- Helping with any learning obstacles.
- Working with our Communities of Practice to ensure the proper guidance and mentoring to ensure the apprentice achieves technical excellence.
At Tungsten Training Centre, our apprenticeships are real jobs with formal and informal learning, allowing people to achieve their career goals supportedly.
We offer a place to develop in an innovative and collaborative environment. Whether someone is new or established, our apprenticeships can allow people to flourish and shape their careers.
